Celebrate the beauty, warmth, and joy of the holiday season with Safonia’s Christmas Collection, a festive program bringing together beloved Christmas favorites, stunning classical and contemporary choral works, and music chosen by the singers of Safonia themselves.

This joyful collection reflects everything we love about making music during the holidays: moments of breathtaking beauty and reflection alongside familiar melodies, laughter, nostalgia, and plenty of Christmas cheer. The program travels from the shimmering beauty of Eric Whitacre’s Glow and the lyricism of Song to the Moon to seasonal favorites including Sussex Carol, Once Upon a December, and Kay Thompson’s Jingle Bells. And because no Christmas collection would be complete without a little fun, audiences can also look forward to Candy Cane Lane, Christmas Chopsticks, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and Donny Hathaway’s This Christmas.

At the heart of this concert are the singers themselves. The selections were submitted by members of Safonia—pieces they love, remember, or simply wanted the opportunity to sing together. The result is a collection that spans musical styles and traditions while celebrating the shared joy that brings singers and audiences together year after year.

Whether you come for the timeless Christmas melodies, the beauty of treble choral singing, or simply an evening of music and community, Christmas Collection offers a little something for everyone. Join Safonia as we gather some of our favorite music into one festive celebration and share the sounds of the season together.
