Fall Tokens

Join Safonia for an evening of music that celebrates home, gratitude, and the simple joys of life. In our fall concert, Gather: A Festival of Thanks, we bring together songs that honor the beauty of nature, the comfort of community, and the hope that guides us through changing seasons.

This program highlights the work of American composers, from timeless melodies like “’Tis the Gift to Be Simple” and “Shenandoah,” to rich choral pieces by Aaron Copland, Gwyneth Walker, Stephen Paulus, and Craig Hella Johnson. You’ll also hear contemporary voices like Joan Szymko, Susan LaBarr, and J. David Moore, whose music looks outward to the stars and inward to the heart.

Every piece invites us to reflect on what it means to gather, to give thanks, and to find joy in each other’s company. As a gift to our audience, this concert is donation-based only. Safonia will also be donating 15% of all concert proceeds to Project Angel Heart, helping provide a special Thanksgiving meal and a week’s worth of medically tailored meals for neighbors across the state.

Come share in a night of heartfelt singing and let Safonia’s voices kick off the warmth and spirit of the season. We hope you’ll join us!
